A Novel Infrared Borescope System for Industrial Nondestructive
Testing

Abstract:
A novel mid infrared borescope imaging system (patent pending) is described
along with applications as a new tool to the industrial nondestructive testing (NDT)
community. This new tool opens up applications for thermal imaging that were
previously inaccessible due to the limitations posed by the dimensions of the
available thermal camera lens systems. The IR borescope can be configured to
work in the range of 2 to 15 microns, depending o the application.
